PRISCILLA
WRITES
Welcome to
A blog about books, travel, writing, and how to leave the world a little better than we found it.

In many ways, this blog is a tribute to writing and the role it's played in my life. Whether it was in the worn-out notebooks packed with handwritten short stories, or the many journal entries saved in a Microsoft Word document, writing has always played a part in my story.
And it continues here, on Priscilla Writes - a place for me to share through writing about the things I love most: travel, reading, and of course, writing itself.

A Few Things You Should Know About Me...
I live in the great state of Texas and am currently in the process of writing my first young adult novel. When I'm not working on said novel, I can usually be found working in marketing for my church, exploring my city, or catching up on my Netflix queue and endless TBR list.
Here are 5 random facts about me:
-
I'm a lifelong Texan, born in West Texas and now living on the Gulf Coast.
-
Jane Eyre is my favorite novel, and the top destination on my bucket list is currently the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
-
I prefer mountains to the beach, but I do love being out on the ocean.
-
I don't drink much caffeine because I'm highly sensitive to it, so I get by with decaf and a bit of green tea.
-
I speak Spanish and can understand a bit of French.
