Happy International Women's Day! IWD is a day to get educated about women's issues and celebrate the women in your life. I think that especially as a woman, it's so important to find women who can positively influence and encourage you. Some of them should come in the form of family members and close friends. But I also love looking to women whose ministries speak into my life, even if I may not know them in real life.

Here are some of those women, and some of my favorite sermons and talks they've given.

1. Kari Jobe Teaching on Worship:

I have always been a big fan of Kari Jobe's music style and her powerful lyrics. In this sermon, she talks about the importance of knowing God for yourself and worshipping Him in your life.

2. Kim Walker's Testimony

Here Kim Walker shares part of her story and her own walk with God. I love testimonies because they always leave me in awe of how faithful and loving God is to each of us. Kim's particular story is so powerful. It inspires me to seek to know Jesus as intimately as she does.

3. Chrstine Caine at Passion 2015

I heard this sermon from Christine Caine a few weeks ago at Passion, and it was instantly unforgettable. I love Christine's commitment to speaking truth- even if it initially makes her audience uncomfortable. This is the kind of sermon that will motivate you to get up, get out, and go for what God is calling you to do. Right now.

4. Katie Davis Shares her Story

I've mentioned Katie Davis before when I wrote about some of my favorite books. Here Katie talks about her journey and work in Uganda (where she adopted 13 girls and started her own nonprofit organization). Her story is inspiring, challenging, and full of God's love and grace.

5. Chelsea Smith

I always love hearing Judah Smith preach, and his wife's sermons (though less frequent) are also amazing. Here Chelsea addresses some obstacles to being in community and how we can make friends by being more about others and less focused on ourselves.

Hope you guys enjoy these wonderful sermons!
