This month has been a busy one, but it's so important to make time for the little things that make you happy. Here are some of my favorites for this month. :)

Reading...

Pathologies of Power by Dr. Paul Farmer. This is a rich and heavy book on the causes and implications of poverty around the world. Guaranteed to make you sad/angry/passionate, usually within the span of a few paragraphs. But it is so important to understand the reality of the world we live in, even if it may be hard to hear at first.

Watching...

Reruns of Boy Meets World. I used to watch this sometimes when I was a kid, but honestly all I could remember was there was a girl with a weird name in it (ha!). Lately I've been catching up on some old episodes and am starting to realize why it was all anyone ever talked about in the '90s.

Following...

FoxMeetsBear on Instagram. I am obsessed with this lovely lady's photographs and the adorable way she dresses up her daughter. I'm years away from ever starting a family but when I do, I know I want to raise my children in the free-spirited, kind, and beautiful way that this family does.

Listening to...

Touch the Sky by HIllsong United. This band is always brilliant, but I am especially in love with the lyrics of this song, like, "I bought the world and sold my heart, You traded heaven to have me again." I'm also so excited that our worship team has been playing this at church lately.

Wearing...

I bought a pair of beautfiul teal Nike sneakers (pictured below) back in August for my trip to Tennessee and have worn them about three times (tells you how much I work out, doesn't it?). But I've been slipping them on again lately and I am starting to become obsessed with them. Which might be a good thing because now I feel obligated to start working out...

Dreaming About...

Traveling by myself somewhere, whether it be Austin a few hours away, or someday, Europe. I believe there is something so calming and magical about traveling completely alone, and I would love to experience it someday.

Loving...

Coffee shop pastries, especially macaraons, because it's okay to embrace my sweet tooth every now and then. These delicious beauties are from Tout Suite, one of my favorites.

What have you been up to this month?
