This has been such an important month for me since I just finished wrapping up my last exams and classes for college... ever! And I graduate in a few days, which is so exciting!

Other than getting ready for the fun to come with that, here's some of the stuff I've been checking out this month:

Reading...

Cold Tangerines by Shauna Niequist. This is the second book I've read by this lady, and I promise you it won't be the last. I love Shauna's vulnerability and poetic writing in her memoir-style books. They always inspire me to write more and follow my passions the way she has.

Watching...

Nothing Much to Do on youtube. I actually finished watching this a few months ago, but since a new series from its creators will soon be coming out, I wanted to share it with you all. NMTD is a youtube adaptation of Shakespeare's Much to Do About Nothing, and it is brilliant. I've watched plenty other youtube adaptations, but this is my favorite by far because of how incredibly realistic it is. Check it out if you get the chance, it's addicting and difficult not to watch all in one sitting (p.s. watch from the playlist so you get the videos in order).

Following...

WanderingwithMary on Instagram. I'm a sucker for following people who travel, and especially who travel to places like Africa. This lovely lady frequents Uganda, but she does more than just travel. Sometimes her pictures are simply about day to day things like meeting up with friends. But her captions are beautiful, and I love following people who inspire me to live an authentic and fearless life.

Working on...

My makeup choices. I'm not big on makeup mostly because I don't really feel motivated to worry about eyeliner or eyeshadow and all that stuff. It might be a skill I'll pick up someday, but for now I generally only use foundation and occasionally concealer. But when I read that 60% of what we put on our face gets absorbed into our skin, I decided I want to start going for more natural products. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for me, but if you know of any good natural/organic stuff, let me know!

Dreaming About...

Writing my first novel. Lately the most random things will have me thinking about writing and what I'm going to incorporate into my stories and characters. I don't even have a set plot yet, but finding inspiration everywhere I go is making me feel more and more like a writer everyday, and I love that.

Loving...

Studying at Barnes & Noble. Though I've been to a lot of neat coffee shops in the past year, I finally found my favorite study spot of all- and it's not even a coffee shop. A Barnes & Noble in my city has tables set up for studying at their indoor Starbucks, and a particularly awesome one tucked away in a corner where no one bothers you (I'm an introvert okay, I live for secluded corners). But the best part is whenever I need a study break, I can just walk around and look at books! May not be so good on my wallet, but it's so good for my soul.

What have you been up to this month?
