A couple of weeks ago we had our fifth annual youth and young adult conference, Hope & Life, and it was an amazing three days as usual! I love getting to be a part of this conference each year and seeing the impact that these days have on people's lives.
Here are some of my favorite moments:
Our worship team led out the conference, and even wrote a few new songs just for the event. My favorite is called "Off the Ground." I'll share it with you guys if it gets posted somewhere :)

Hillsong Young & Free also joined us for part of conference, which was amazing. Their worship style is so vibrant and fun and definitely a workout (because come on, you can't not dance along with Hillsong Young & Free)!

That same night one of my favorite pastors preached: the one and only Christine Caine! What I love about her is that her messages always leave me both inspired and convicted, and they're always difficult to forget. This time was no different. Here she is preaching up a storm:

Another cool thing we get to do during conference was participate in service projects around the city. Getting up early in the morning isn't the easiest thing to do when you were up late the night before, but still hundreds of youth and young adults showed up to serve around the city anyway. We did some school remodeling and painting, and I just love how everything turned out:

Some of the painting we did on the chalkboards:

We finished conference off with 30 (yes, 30) food trucks, and a crazy dance party. There may or may not have been a giant inflatable elephant involved...

As usual, it felt like conference was over way too soon. But I got so much out of it this year, and I'm already looking forward to Hope & Life 2016. If you're going to be in Houston next June, consider this your (very) early invitation!
