Life has been very strange and different for me lately, but I've made sure to find time to do the things I enjoy and find new ways to feel inspired. Here are some of my favorite things I've been checking out this month. I hope they inspire you too. :)
Reading...
This awesome Hebrews bible study in the picture below. I picked this up as a completely impulse buy from Lifeway a few weeks ago and it has been so absolutely worth it! Hebrews is my favorite book of the Bible because it's the only one I've studied in detail, and it always, always changes my perspective on life and Jesus when I read it. I'm looking forward to (hopefully!) starting this study with friends this month, but in the meantime I did cheat a little (oops...) and read ahead and it is wonderful.

Watching...
Kristina Horner on youtube. I don't keep up with too many youtube vloggers, but I really like Kristina's vlogs because she talks a lot about books and writing. Her NaNoWriMo vlogs are some of my favorites (if you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, do yourself a favor and look it up, because I will definitely be doing it this year)! Writing a novel can get a little lonely if you're doing it on your own, so it's great to find some resources online that make you feel a little less like you've lost your mind for even attempting it.
Following...
Chase Blood on Instagram. I've been following this account for about a year, and it's one of the few photography accounts I've stuck with for so long. Chase takes the most amazing nature pictures and includes really beautiful devotions to go along with them. i always want to pack up my things and move to the Pacific Northwest when he posts a new picture! This one is one of my absolute favorites:

Working on...
Detoxing my closet. I did a little summer cleaning a few days ago and realized there is A LOT of clothes I need to donate/throw out because I don't even wear them anymore. I'm also trying to create a minimalist closet which has been a lot of fun to envision creatively (check out this website for more info on that). I'm really excited to see how it turns out because I want to only own clothes that I truly love and feel comfortable in. If any of you guys have done this, please share some tips with me!
Loving...
Thriftbooks.com, aka the best website for buying books online. Thriftbooks offers free shipping anywhere in the United States, and they've got a huge inventory full of gently used books at amazing prices. Seriously, finding out about this site made me so happy! It's also been super useful for my goal of reading more books this year. Check them out and sign up for their email list to find out when they've got sales going on. I got three CS Lewis books for about $7, so it's definitely worth it!
Dreaming About...
Picking up guitar lessons again. For some reason, it has been harder than ever to ignore my acoustic guitar sitting in the corner of my room this month. It's like it's been demanding to be played! I bought my guitar about two years ago with the hopes of learning some acoustic worship songs, but have gotten so busy and sidetracked that I barely learned a few chords. I may need to go for real lessons this time since teaching myself was more of a challenge than I bargained for. Either way, I really am excited about picking it back up again.
What have you been up to this month?
