Why I Love my Feed Bags

Though my blog isn't a fashion blog, I couldn't resist making this post because it's about accessories that truly make a difference. I don't have too many weaknesses when it comes to fashion, but one I can't shake is the beautiful bags Feed makes. The best thing about them is that each purchase provides meals to underprivileged kids in America and around the world. But they are also so lovely and hard to stop buying when you start!

I bought my first Feed bag a year ago in my search for a backpack for my last year of college. I wanted something smaller and preferably from a nonprofit, and that led me to this cute black bag. I had a great year using it for school, and since I generally like to carry a light load between classes, it was the perfect size!

Feed actually has new backpacks out this year which makes me a little jealous! I'm obsessed with them but I'm not in school anymore so I can't really justify buying any. If you're still looking for a good backpack though, you should definitely look into it!

My sister (knowing how much I love Feed bags) got me the classic Feed bag for Christmas! This is the one you often see celebrities wearing in magazines. It's big enough to hold literally everything you need, and it goes with practically any casual outfit. But the coolest thing might be that it's reversible, so you can wear it in white (like in the pic below) or the original beige.

I love wearing this bag with my Katie Davis Amazima necklace (check out her book Kisses for Katie to learn more about her organization). Fair trade, do-good accessories help me keep the most important things in mind and give me the chance to inspire others who might be curious about what I'm wearing.

The next Feed bag I bought was this smaller clutch, handcrafted in Guatemala. It's the perfect size for my camera so that's what I use it for, but I'm sure it makes a great day bag too.

I also bought a stocking from Feed (they sell more than bags!) because I wanted my Christmas stocking to also have a nonprofit source (I told you I'm a fan of nonprofit stuff). This picture was obviously taken during the Christmas present opening madness...

And finally, my favorite Feed bag! I use this bag almost daily. It's beautiful, big enough for all my necessities, and closes very nicely. Here's some of the stuff I like to carry in it- stuff that inspire me to change the world, much like this organization is doing through their beautiful bags.

If you haven't bought a bag from Feed yet, I definitely recommend them! They are also having a sale today (20% off with the code B2S2015 on any product) if you want to check it out :)
