Reading...

Vision Map by Joel Malm. This book is basically a guide on how to launch your next big dream. it's the World Race for me, of course, so as soon as I saw someone recommend this book on social media, I knew I had to get it. I just started it so I'll let you know my thoughts on it later, but for know it looks just like the thing I need to motivate me further. Joel Malm is pretty much an expert at this kind of stuff, so I'm sure it'll be awesome.

Following...

Grace & Salt on Instagram. I've actually been following this account for over a year, but I wanted to share their story with you because it's incredibly inspiring. Kearydee and her husband are currently living in Uganda and are in the process of adopting two beautiful little kids. Following their journey has been such a privilege. They've dealt with a lot of serious obstacles, such as Kearydee discovering she has Type 1 diabetes, which landed her in a coma and unable to join her family overseas for months. Currently they are trying to raise funds so that they will be able to adopt both their kids, one of whom was also diagnosed with Type 1. Their story is an incredibly testimony of God's grace and redemption, and I encourage you to check out their website and shop to help them out!

Loving...

World Market. I have a serious weakness for this store, and was quickly reminded of that the last time I stepped into it. I mean, it's a store with snacks and trinkets from all over the world. it was pretty much created for me to love it. One thing that's also really neat about this store is that they have sales pretty often. They tend to rotate them between departments. Last time i walked in looking for earrings (their jewelry is often made in other parts of the world and it's lovely) they were on sale and I walked away with two pairs for $8 after using a coupon they'd sent me! If you like their stuff, definitely sign up for their emails. They send coupons pretty often ;)

Listening to...

Oh Honey. I love this little indie band so much. Their songs are sweet and lyrical and always leave me in a happy mood. I found them by chance on the internet, but actually find it hilarious that they once toured with the Fray (my all time favorite band). I guess I have a specific style of music I'm always drawn to. You can give them a listen on their youtube page. I'm currently loving Compass but my all time favorite of theirs is this song. There's something wonderful about finding music that just makes you feel happy and relaxed and this band's songs always do that for me.

Working on...

Eating healthier and working out. I'm about to start working on this actually. I'm excited for Fall because it means the weather will be nicer, so outside runs will be more feasible earlier in the day. I'm not much of an early morning runner- 6 or 7pm is my ideal workout time. But with the recent three-digit degree weather, that was nearly impossible. Now that we had our first cold front roll through, I have a feeling being outside in the late afternoon which will be more pleasant. That means no more excuses for not running throughout the week! And of course, exercising always motivates me to eat healthier, so I'm looking forward to integrating both of those routines into my life.

What is your September looking like so far?
