Following...
Taylor Tippett on Instagram. I actually followed this lovely girl on tumblr first and eventually discovered her awesome Instagram account. She's pretty popular on there, and for good reason. Not only is her #WordsfromtheWindowSeat series adorable and inspirational, but her life and laughter radiate through every single one of her posts. There are some people who find a way to let their true personality shine online, and Taylor is one of those. Plus, her feed is gorgeous if you're into photography. :)

Thankful for...
My new bedroom! I recently got a brand new dark mahogany bedroom and I am in love with it. It's beautiful (and smells wonderful), and it may be just a bedroom but I feel like it came at a time I really needed it. I'm in this weird transition to full-scale adulthood (is that a thing? cause I feel like it's a thing) and switching from my very colorful I've-had-it-since-I-was-in-high-school bedroom to this grown-up, mature looking room has made me so happy. It feels strangely symbolic, and I'm so grateful to God for letting me enjoy it. I feel so blessed every time I walk into my new room.
Loving...
That I got to be part of an awesome Sweater Swap again this year. This swap was hosted by Coffee with Summer, and I had such a fun time shopping for my package to send out. I love doing things like this because 1) it gives you an excuse to shop 2) I have such a fun time planning gifts for people and 3) how often do you get to exchange gifts with someone across the country that you've never met before? This is part of the lovely package I received from Summer herself (I wish I'd taken an early picture of it because there was a lot more chocolate that I quickly ate haha). I can't wait to hopefully be part again next year!

Working on...
Blogging a bit more consistently. I don't just mean the amount I blog (though I do want to work on that), but more the content. In the past few months, I've basically just posted any good post idea I came across. But after looking through my old posts, I've realized the ones I love the most are the ones where I was honest about my struggles and the things God is teaching me. I love writing. It's my favorite form of expression. And I want my blog to reflect that. So I want the theme of this site to be exactly that- inspirational posts that come from an authentic place in my heart. That means being transparently honest about my struggles and God's grace in the midst of them. I'll still keep around my Monthly Favorites posts and every now and then I'll do something fun, but I really want the personal ones to be my focus.
Wearing...
This amazing makeup. I fell in love with it when I first tried it earlier this year and then when it went out bought another of the same brand. The only problem was it was a different type of powder, and I bought a shade that was way too light for me. Seriously, I resembled a ghost for a couple weeks! So I recently switched back to this awesome package. This whole set cost me only $15 yet it looks like professional, expensive makeup. But my favorite part is that this brand is designed to be gentle for your skin. It's hypoallergenic and avoids many of the harsh chemicals other brands use. I'm not a huge makeup person, so the fact that I'm posting about it should tell you I really am in love with this product.

What are some of your favorite things this month? :)
