Adventuring Week 20: Passion

It's been a year since I started my Adventuring series- a look at small adventures throughout the year. A lot of my Adventures were things I would have probably done anyway (sans the inspiration of my adventuring commitment), but there were several that I took on because of that commitment. Honestly, my favorite part of this series was the beginning because I feel like I was really looking for ways to do things that put me out of my comfort zone then. Towards the end I was sometimes only looking for things to blog about, since my life and schedule had taken on other priorities.

All that being said, it's been a great year of sharing my adventures with you. This week I'm bringing the series to an official close because it will be my 20th week! And I'll be ending off with the Passion Conference- one of my first adventures of 2015.

This was my third year attending Passion in Houston, but it felt more like my fifth year, since I started watching the conference in 2012. I will never forget the first time I "attended" passion (virtually). It was the middle of my freshman year of college, and I locked myself up in my room and watched each session as soon as it was available for replay. I got so much out of that first conference (and out of every one that followed). And now I love that I started Passion my first year of college, and kept with it all the way until the semester after graduating.

Looking back, I can see the faithfulness of God through every situation I've found myself in the past five January's. And I think it's so neat that a conference can help me reflect like that.

This year was no short of amazing, so here's a few pictures of the event.

Worship was awesome as usual during Passion. We got to be led by the Passion Band, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman & more!

Sitting at the very top was probably my favorite because we got this awesome view when Crowder led worship.

And I loved when Chris Tomlin finally made his way to Houston and sang one of my favorite songs :)

While we were in Houston, two other arenas in Atlanta were also experiencing Passion. The moments when all the arenas came together through technology (like in the pic above) were unforgettable.

I can't wait to (hopefully!) be at Passion next year in the Georgia Dome :)
