I did one of these posts quite a few months ago and I'm not sure why I've waited so long to do another one. I'm a bit of an online-article junkie. I open them like crazy on facebook pretty much anytime I come across one with a title that grabs my interest. And ever since I discovered the app Pocket (that I'll share about next week), well, there's officially no stopping my article-hoarding now.

Luckily for you, you get to benefit from my little obsession! I've collected a few of my very favorite articles in this post to save you the time of browsing. You're welcome.

Do you know anyone who's not trying to find a better way to manage their time? I don't. And that's exactly why this article exists. Written by one of the wise collaborators of Propel Women (an amazing magazine for Christian women, if you've never heard of it), this article gives some very practical tips on how to discover where you are spending (or wasting) your time, and what you can do to be more intentional. Much needed in today's world.

Although all the articles on here are amazing, this one is hands-down my favorite. Not only is Nicole Reyes a wonderful writer (and speaker, by the way. She preached a wonderful message at my church a few months ago), this article also hits the nail right on the head. Forgive the cliche, but I really do mean it. Nicole talks about the pressure the world has put on women to be sexy and attractive to men - and then proceeds to fight back against it. We are more than sex appeal. And I think that is something that's needed to be said for awhile.

I'm still chipping away at that audacious novel-writing goal of mine, so this article came as a welcome piece of advice. It's got some solid tips for bringing your characters to life, which I think is something a lot of writers naturally struggle with. I'm definitely going to be taking these ideas to heart and implementing them to give my characters more personality and dimension.

I am a big fan of Darling Magazine's ability to be honest about the challenges (and opportunities) women currently face. This article touches on something I'm sure all women can relate with - that annoying voice inside our head that likes to critique pretty much everything we don't do perfectly. Such an important issue to discuss, and I think this article does a great job at it.

Not to say extroverts don't have their own set of challenges, but since I'm an introvert, this article is about one we face. Susan Cain is pretty much the go-to voice for all things introversion, and this article is no exception. Here she discusses why introverts feel the same high after socializing that extroverts do- but still manage to get exhausted by it eventually. She also gives great tips on how to be energized as an introvert without feeling overwhelmed like we sometimes can be.

Make sure to let me know if you like any of these suggestions and if you've got some great articles you've loved, send them my way as well! :)
