A Gilmore Girls Adventure

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, you probably know Gilmore Girls is kind of a big deal right now. It all started when the series premiered on Netflix and suddenly everyone was re-watching the series. Then of course producers announced they were going to revive the show in a four part series to premiere later this year. Which means most of us are now impatiently counting down until we'll finally get our Gilmore fix again.
In the meantime, my sister and I decided to venture out on a Gilmore Girls inspired photoshoot. I bought both my sisters these adorable Luke's Diner sweatshirts last Christmas and when we came across a part of our city that looks pretty much straight out of Stars Hollow, we knew we had the perfect photo-op. Pizza and coffee were also a must for our Gilmore Girls adventure, of course.
We found what is pretty much a smaller replica of the Stars Hollow gazebo! (this is my sister posing with her cup of "Luke's" coffee)
I don't actually drink coffee (which is totally okay because neither did Alexis Bledel throughout the whole series ;) so this is me pretending my cup of hot chocolate is actually caffeine.
The houses in this part of our city look straight out of Stars Hollow and it's adorable.
Of course we had to stop and enjoy some pizza because it is the most Gilmore-approved food group.
No one knows food like the Gilmore Girls.
Well that's it for our Gilmore Girls inspired adventure! This was such a random photoshoot to do, but it was so much fun! I love finding new things to do in my city, and the best part about this one was that a) it was super cheap and b) it was kind of hilarious to stand around photographing ourselves eating pizza and drinking coffee.
