Choosing Love Over Hate

Hi everyone! I’m super excited to share this post with you because it involves two really awesome things 1) a super cute shirt that makes a difference and 2) my little sister, who I actually surprisingly haven’t featured much on this blog yet.

My sister will be heading to India this December on a mission trip and while part of me is a little jealous (actually super jealous but that’s okay ;) I’m also excited for her because this will be her first overseas mission trip.

Perhaps the coolest part of this trip is that she’s going to get to minister in two areas she’s really passionate about. The trip will be hosting a medical clinic for several days, and as my sister is studying pre-med right now in college, she’s going to get to help and learn from the other medical practitioners on the team. They will also be visiting part of India’s red light district to minister to young girls trapped in the sex trafficking industry, an issue that my sister has been passionate about fighting since she first heard about it. So this trip couldn’t be more perfect for her.

To help raise money for the trip, my sister designed these shirts which she’s selling (for only $22!). The message behind them is that love will always be greater than hate - such an important thing to keep in mind in light of all the evil going on in the world lately. In the end, we know that love will win over hate. And I love that that’s the message behind these shirts, especially since the mission trip to India is about exactly that: spreading love and conquering hate and evil.

If you’d like to order a shirt, you can do that right at this link: India Fundraiser Shirts. They are super soft and comfortable and plus they’ve got a front pocket! (or “frocket” ;)

You can also read more about my sister’s trip at the link, or follow her Instagram for future updates. Thanks for your support! Please also keep the team in your prayers as they prepare to head out this November.
