One of the places I was most excited to visit during my recent trip to Disney World was Toy Story Land. When we went, Galaxy's Edge still hadn't opened, and Toy Story Land was the bright shiny toy (pun intended) of Hollywood Studios. And rightly so. It may not be as impressive as Galaxy's Edge, but it's still a very immersive, cute little land with really great rides.

Because we were only able to get a FastPass for Toy Story Mania, we headed to Slinky Dog Dash as soon as the park opened. We actually waited in line for about an hour before, and if you want to beat the Slinky Dog Dash wait in the morning (which quickly becomes over 2 hours), you kind of have to. The line outside Hollywood Studios before the park opens is super long, and most of those people head right to Slinky Dog. I felt a little bad for the cast members who had the tricky job of trying to navigate everyone to Toy Story Land without causing a stampede.
Anyway, once in line we really only waited about 45 minutes to get on, which is a great time for this ride, that when we went was one of the longest waits (Batuu and Tower of Terror are probably the others now). It was a very tame roller coaster and not super long, but it was fun and the waiting area is really well decorated. Worth getting on once, but I don't know that I'd make a line for it if I ever went back.

After Slinky Dog Dash, we headed to Woody's Lunchbox for a treat. I loved Woody's Lunchbox. Everything from the snack tarts to the alien punch to the totchos I had later in the day was so good. I tried both the chocolate hazelnut and lemon blueberry tarts, but the chocolate one was my favorite. The totchos are by far the best though. They were one of my favorite things I had at Disney World this year. I didn't want them to end!

Later in the day, we had our Toy Story Mania FastPass, and this ride surprised me with how much fun it was. I actually liked it more than Slinky Dog Dash. We didn't get to see the wait area very much since we skipped the line, but I'm sure the theming was as great as the rest of Toy Story Land. Once you get on the ride, it's just a whole lot of fun trying to rack up points as you compete with those around you.
I wasn't sure if I was going to try to get on Alien Swirling Saucers, but eventually we did, though that cost us another 45 minute wait. This is another ride I will probably skip next time unless the line is shorter. It was fun though, kind of like a version of Mad Tea Party, except you don't get to do the spinning yourself.

If you're headed to Toy Story Land anytime soon, I recommend Toy Storia Mania, Slinky Dog Dash (if you can avoid the ridiculous wait time), and the snacks from Woody's Lunchbox as the top things to see here. Sometimes the character meet and greet lines can also get really long, but when they calm down a bit, it's also worth it to get a nice pic with Buzz or Woody and Bo Peep.
